CLAUDIA ARIAS
Claudia Arias has developed a dynamic career in communication and marketing. She began her career in 2009 at McCann Worldgroup Portugal as an Account Executive for major clients. Later, she joined the Communication Department of the National Energy Agency, where she led projects for the Portuguese Government. In 2018, Claudia returned to McCann and she is currently Head of Client Services, managing key accounts.
PEDRO AMARAL
Pedro Amaral is a Portuguese composer and conductor. Paper is always present in his work, as a university professor and above all in composition and orchestral conducting, two fields in which he has developed a remarkable body of work that has given him international recognition.
RICHARD HARPER
Richard Harper is a Professor, Scientist and Author that believes in paper's power to express and polish ideas. He teaches in the Department of Computing and Communications at Lancaster University and has published over 222 scientific articles and 18 books. He’s researches range from the social impact of new technology to the artificial intelligence.
HALFSTUDIO
HalfStudio is a collective (artists Mariana Branco and Emanuel Barreira) based in Portugal which develops projects in various creative fields always with lettering and sign painting as the central element. Their visual language is characterized by three-dimensional letters and dynamic layouts, reflecting striking messages and vibrant colors.
PAUL ANTONIO
Paul Antonio is one of the best scribes in the world. Trained as a calligrapher, gilder and heraldic artist, he practices both traditional and modern calligraphy. His studies at the University of Reading and Birkbeck are part of his extensive knowledge of the art of handwriting. Paul is also a teacher and lecturer with thousands of students and fans following his work online.
NADIM HABIB
Nadim is a teacher and lecturer at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. He also gives talks and advises leading organisations on strategy and agility. He was CEO of the Executive Education Program from 2008 to 2014 and previously held senior management positions in banking, telecommunications, and consulting.
CÂNDIDA MIRANDA
Cândida Miranda is a teacher and artisan, who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts. Fascinated with paper since she was a child, she created and continues to develop a set of Portuguese icons, which serve as a model for the creation of her work, using a technique called “paper filigree”.
MARCELO LOURENÇO AND PEDRO BEXIGA
Marcelo Lourenço and Pedro Bexiga are two internationally renowned publicists. After many successful campaigns, created for brands loved by thousands, they founded their agency “Coming Soon” in Lisbon. They share a unique sense of humour and constantly challenge each other.
HUGO VAN DER DING
Hugo Van der Ding is a copywriter, creative, illustrator, author of one of the most popular podcasts in Portugal and a successful cartoonist. All he needs is a pen, a good idea, and a blank sheet of paper to create stories and characters that thousands of people love every day.
